This family-run hotel is located in beautiful Black Forest countryside, a 15-minute drive from Freiburg city centre. Hotel-Restaurant Zum Ochsen offers traditional country-style rooms and Baden cuisine. The bright rooms at Hotel Zum Ochsen feature wooden interiors, a seating area and private bathroom. Cable TV and free WiFi is available in all rooms, and most rooms have a balcony with panoramic forest views. A rich breakfast buffet and regional Baden specialities are served in the rustic-style restaurant or on the scenic beer terrace. The surrounding Southern Black Forest Nature Park is ideal for hiking and cycling. Younger guests are welcome to play in the children’s playground. Hotel Zum Ochsen offers free parking and is an 8-minute walk from Schallstadt Train Station. It is a 35-minute drive from Mulhouse and a 40-minute drive from Basel via the nearby A5 motorway.
