Welcome to the charming town of Bad Reichenhall, an idyllic spa town in the heart of the Bavarian Alps. The beautiful spa town looks back on four thousand years of settlement history, which is closely linked to the extraction of salt from brine. Since the middle of the 19th century, the town has been known as a spa and vacation resort, since 1890 it has had the spa in its name and in 1899 the town was awarded the title of Royal Bavarian State Spa. A highlight is the spa garden, a beautiful park which was laid out in 1868 by the Royal Bavarian court gardener Carl von Effner. It is still considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Central Europe. It invites you to linger and relax. Enjoy the tranquillity and nature and be enchanted by the variety of flowers and plants. Discover the diversity and beauty of this enchanting town and let yourself be enchanted by its magic. You can park directly on the street. This is chargeable from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. There is a free parking lot about 5 minutes' walk away. Loading and unloading in front of the door is possible.
