This guest house is situated in village of Wutach, 10 km from the Swiss border. Gasthof zur Burg offers a bowling alley and rental bikes for exploring the surrounding Black Forest countryside. The country-style rooms at Gasthof zur Burg feature wooden furniture and floors, a seating area and a balcony or terrace. A TV and private bathroom are also included. A breakfast buffet is available each morning. Regional Black Forest cuisine is served in the restaurant or beer garden. Guests are welcome to play table tennis, and there are a children’s playground. Gasthof zur Burg is surrounded by hiking and cycling trails, and the Wutachschlucht Gorge is just 5 km away. Private parking is free for guests. Freiburg and Lake Constance can both be reached in a 1-hour drive. Monday (in winter also Tuesday) is a day of rest; the arrival is still possible, but the restaurant is closed.
