When I booked the chalet, I didn't know what to expect. But after my stay, I can say without hesitation that Dirk Schmuhl is the best host I have ever experienced.
Dirk gave me and my family a warm welcome from the very beginning and made us feel welcome. He showed us all the amenities of the lodge and answered any questions we had. But that's just the beginning.
Throughout our stay, Dirk was always attentive, friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of valuable tips and recommendations for activities in the area and helped us plan our days. He even organized some of our activities for us and recommended the best places to try Czech beer and local specialties.
But what I appreciated most about Dirk was his flexibility and personalization. He helped us adjust our program when our plans changed and he accommodated our needs and preferences to ensure we had an unforgettable time.
The accommodation itself was fantastic - clean, cozy and full of amenities. The large garden, pool and river in close proximity were an added bonus. But what really made the difference was Dirk's hospitality. He made us feel like we were part of his family and provided us with an experience that went far beyond what you would expect from a regular host.
Overall, I can fully recommend Dirk and Beskydy Lodge. If you are looking for beautiful accommodation in the Czech Beskydy Mountains and want a host who will cater to your every need, then Dirk is the perfect host for you.
Property information
Please read everything carefully:
There are 5 different chalets, all of which have a separate entrance. From March 2024, there will also be a large winter garden and outdoor pool, several whirlpools, also for children, sauna, wellness, massages. Bed linen and towels are provided. Each chalet is fully equipped, bathroom with shower and toilet and or separate guest toilet. Fully equipped, usable kitchen, with gas and or electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, ice cube machine, coffee machine, juice and food processor and grill, as well as microwave. The use of washing machine and dryer can be arranged as well as WiFi.
Seats in the entrance area. You can sit and relax in front of the house, in the garden, by the pools and there is a hallway. You can barbecue and have parties in the garden. There are secure parking spaces on the property for up to 10 cars. Sports such as tennis and fitness are available at the SportArtHotel. In the chalet there is the possibility of swimming, sauna and wellness. Please note the information that we will send you one day before your arrival. As there are two houses with the number 15 in Prostredni Becva, please enter the house number 241 in the navigation system. Please note the additional costs. Energy is always recorded and billed by meter on arrival and departure. The KWH is 18 czk. The tourist tax for the village per day and adult is 20 czk. This is to be paid in the accommodation via the deposit, as is the deposit of 5000 czk. The deposit will be refunded minus costs and consumption. Electricity consumption, tourist tax and deposit are independent of Booking and have nothing to do with the payment to Booking. The accommodation must be returned clean and tidy as you received it. Neighbourhood information
The Czech Beskydy is a unique and stunning region in the Czech Republic that has a lot of natural beauty to offer. Here you will find numerous mountains, valleys, rivers and lakes that are perfect for outdoor activities.
One of the main attractions of the Czech Beskydy is undoubtedly the beautiful nature that can be found here. The region is rich in forests, meadows and wildlife, including rare species such as bears, wolves and lynx. There are numerous hiking trails that lead through the mountains and valleys and many beautiful viewpoints from which to admire the landscape.
Water also plays an important role in the Czech Beskydy. There are many rivers and streams here that are perfect for fishing, canoeing or rafting. There are also several lakes that are great for swimming, boating or just relaxing on the shore.
In winter, the region is a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders. There are several ski resorts here, offering a wide range of slopes and facilities, including cross-country skiing and toboggan runs.
But there is plenty to do here in summer too. The Czech Beskydy is a cyclist's paradise, with numerous cycle routes leading through the beautiful countryside. There are also opportunities for climbing, horse riding and even paragliding.
Overall, the Czech Beskydy is a unique region with a lot to offer. Whether you want a peaceful walk in nature, an adrenaline-fuelled rafting trip or just enjoying a cup of hot tea in a cosy lodge, you are sure to find something to suit your interests here.
