Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. Fine Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine is served under ancient vaults or in the charming covered courtyard. You can sip a drink in the quiet garden or on the terrace while enjoying the panoramic views of the lake. All rooms have a private bathroom, a minibar and a TV. Free WiFi is available in each unit. Within a 5-minute walk you can reach the Hotel Tamaro's dependence featuring a sunbathing lawn and an outdoor pool. The next beach can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. Limited parking is available in the garage on site. There is also a private parking area available for a surcharge a 5-minute walk away.
