Welcome to The Still House - a beautiful, light filled space welcoming you to relax, slow down and rejuvenate. The house is surrounded by a covered, NE private deck at the rear and side of the property and provides the perfect space for morning coffee with the birds. There is a daybed for lounging on the Northside deck. The luxury bathroom has a generous bath & sliding doors onto deck. It's also equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The main bedroom has a queen size bed overlooking deck and treetops. Large louvre window and ceiling fan in bedroom for comfort. The bed linen is natural fibres eg. linen or cotton. There's a slow combustion fire available in the open plan living area for chilly evenings as well as an outside fire pit surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is also a split system air conditioning in the living area and ceiling fan. Garden is steep and not suitable for small children or pets as not fenced. 10-12 min walk to Bellingen town

Hi and welcome to my home, The Still House. This house is not a designated vacation rental property and is leased only when I'm traveling. The home is built from sustainable materials and has lots of light and airflow. It's very private and surrounded by a canopy of trees. It's the ideal house for a luxury and/or romantic stay. I love to travel, and I'm passionate about cooking, music, and my beautiful community in Bellingen.

There are so many great things to do in Bellingen. At the house itself, we are regularly visited by Australian birds such as kookaburras and black cockatoos, so great for bird lovers. To experience Bellingen community, visit the local weekly grower's market selling chai, local produce, eggs, honey etc.., This msrket is held every Wednesday at 2:30pm near the tennis courts on Church Street. There is also a larger market held at the same location each month. Buy yourself some local produce and cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen. There is a beautiful nature walk into the woods at the top of Hill Street which takes you to a lookout overlooking Bellingen town - the entrance to the walk is approx. 5mins from the house. Bellingen also offers great cafes and restaurants and a great art/music scene. There is regular music in town at The Brewery (a local woodfire pizza and bar), No. 5 Cafe and The Memorial Hall. The three best (fine dining) restaurants in town are Fiume, Brunos and Charlies. Best coffee is either Hyde Cafe or Fiume with Amelia & Toby's coffee. We are famous for our annual Readers & Writers Festival, Music festivals as well as Camp Creative held in January. There are various yoga studios locally. Bellingen is situated on the mid north coast and has a beautiful river running through it which is great for swimming. The Promised Land and Never Never swimming holes are approx 15min drive into Glennifer from the house. It's also 15mins drive to the best beaches on the East Coast and 15mins to rivers/waterfalls and beautiful mountains.
