Conveniently located approximately 20 minutes drive from the Devonport Airport and Spirit of Tasmania Terminal. The Cosy Cottage is a fully self-contained holiday unit that is clean, comfortable, and cosy !! Sleeps up to 2 guests in open plan studio style accommodation with a queen bed and single bed. Portacot is also available. Lives up to its name with a very cosy fireplace. ​
Your hosts Mark and Julie Swanson live onsite at the 1.5 acre property and will be available 24/7 should you need assistance. We moved from Western Australia in 2011 after falling in love with the Tasmanian lifestyle and beautiful picturesque surroundings.
Located in the peaceful semi-rural suburb of Squeaking Point, you'll enjoy the tranquil bush surrounds of this 1.5 acre property, just minutes from the Rubicon River, Port Sorell and the beautiful beaches of Hawley Beach. About 6km from the Port Sorell / Shearwater town centre with supermarkets, chemist, ATM, liquor store, petrol stations, take away stores, cafes and more. Enjoy a meal at the Shearwater Resort. Just a few minutes stroll from the Rubicon River, enjoy fishing, swimming and boating on this beautiful river. Bring your boat along. Or if you prefer golf there are 2 fantastic courses to choose from within 5km.
