Please note you'll need to walk up stairs to a loft bed, if you have mobility issues this may not be for you. Nestled one street back from Castletown beach, Folktales Rest is a Tasmanian built cottage style tiny home perfect for couples or inspired travellers looking for a luxury retreat. Experience the timeless beauty of Folktales with her rustic charm and old world character. Relax in the deep claw foot bath tub or laze on the comfy lounge for some down time. Folktales Rest is: 250m from Castletown beach 2km to town 15 mins to Twilight Beach 34 mins to Cape Le Grand national park 43 mins to Lucky bay *Due to the loft bedroom, guests should consider mobility issues before booking. We have a wood fire, if you are not familiar or comfortable with using a fireplace, please use the air conditioning and heat pump instead. Folktales Rest is 1 street away from the beach, on a nice evening you can hear the ocean waves with the window slightly ajar (suitable only on a night without wind). Photoshoots are by prior arrangement and at an additional cost.
We have been travelling for the last 7 years and fell in love with the idea of creating our own unique stays after having the pleasure of being hosted in so many beautiful homes all over the world. We are based on Aotea, Great barrier Island but often off travelling. We love Airbnb and meeting so many incredible and interesting people on our travels. We now look forward to hosting guests in our unique stay- Folktales Rest in Esperance WA too.
