Alara Motor Inn is a 4-star motel situated on the Bruce Highway in Mackay and features a licensed restaurant. It is 5 minutes' drive from Mackay's town centre, Mackay Airport, beaches and amenities. Each air-conditioned room offers a refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and bed linen. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, ironing facilities and complimentary toiletries. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV. Some Queen rooms offer the option of a spa bath or bath instead of a shower. Jimmy D's is a fully-licensed restaurant offering an a la carte menu .
