They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

A slightly unusual small inn in a downtown shopping street near Nagoya Station. Opened in April 2015. Convenient location for bars and food (Endoji Brewing in particular). Not too far from the castle and train station. The staff are very helpful.

The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The showers were also very clean and pleasant to use. The area around the hostel has an organic supermarket and several places to buy food, which was really convenient. Tahara itself is a calm and peaceful town – perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended!
