Good base for Beito district if you want to avoid the pricey hotels, was using the metro alot which requires lots of walking but don't mind doing so.

The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

A 27 km da Mercato Notturno di Raohe Street, a Ruifang, 晶晶輕旅民宿瑞芳車站 propone alloggi con aria condizionata e WiFi gratuito. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

A Promised Land BnB offre la vista sul mare a Jiufen e dispone di ristorante, servizio navetta gratuito, snack bar, giardino e terrazza. Awesome location. Host was very kind and friendly. Room was extremely clean and comfortable with many thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend a stay.

Small hotel, very friendly and supportive staff, convenient location with a perfect view over the bay. The room was not only nicely prepared but also perfectly clean.
