A recently renovated guest house situated in Minami Aso, お宿でん吉 features a garden. What an incredible place to have stay. We feel so lucky to have met the hosts and been able to stay in this amazing home. Staying here is just an incredible experience, the home is stunning and fun to explore, the views are great and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our only wish is that we had stayed even longer.

Host was wonderful and organised a meal reservation and drove us there without any additional cost. Home was lovely and clean. Other guests and us had great time socialising in common area. Amazing to be so close and have a view of mount aso.

Set just 32 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 阿蘇び心 Asobi Gokoro offers accommodation in Aso with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Yoshi is the epitome of Japanese hospitality. Yoshi-sang is warm and welcoming from the beginning. We were greeted with some warm corn tea and Yoshi-sang enthusiastically introduced us to the nearby attractions/onsen and food options, with his self drawn map! We would love to have a bbq session at his very nicely decorated place if the weather is not cold. The onsen and food option Yoshi recommended is awesome. On the cold night, he also offered to prepare us some warm bottle to warm up the futons. Next morning, Yoshi also volunteered to defrost the windscreen as it was frosted overnight. He then made us nice dripped coffee and recommended us to take certain routes to visit daikanbo, the Aso crater and scenic route to Beppu. He even helped us to check the crater situation and weather forecast! Staying at Yoshi’s place and meeting him is definitely one of the highlight of our two weeks honeymoon trip. Thank you very much for the very wonderful stay!

It was -3°C when I woke up at 7:30am, so cold and I decided to go back to sleep... but when I drew the curtain and looked outside, the scenery was amazing that I immediately grabbed my coat and gloves to take some pictures outside. The room itself was spacious if you're only traveling with your partner, it would be packed if you're a group of 3 to 4. Very clean and cozy. Everyone mentioned the breakfast so we ordered it too! Self-grown vegetables, homemade jam and yogurt... even the honey was from their own beebox! So healthy and natural food... We were truly amazed.

Lovely hostel. Warm welcome. Beautiful property. Good facilities. As an introvert who uses hostels purely for cost reasons, I found this a good one! About a 20 minute walk from the station.

Boasting quiet street views, Minpaku Jaito-民泊じゃいと-Homestay in Traditional House is situated in Amakusa, 1.9 km from Hondo Beach. This homestay features free private parking and a shared kitchen. All in all a perfekt stay. Especially the hosts were really great. On my leaving day they had a trip planed into the same direction I was heading. Not only did they bring me to the harbor, we also had a little sightseeing tour on the way :)

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, ゲストハウス花縁 - kaen is a recently renovated guest house set in Aso, 37 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto. I spent two wonderful nights at this traditional guest house. The hosts were so kind and we spent a lovely night together with the other guests cooking with their local, fresh vegetables and chatting. Thank you

Omusubi share house JAPANEZE STYLE asub Mamiharas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Aso mägi on 44 km ja Ezu järv 50 km kaugusel. Majutusasutuses on suitsetamine keelatud. We were slightly sceptical about this place as it only had two reviews, but we are so glad we booked. This was a great guesthouse with traditional Japanese rooms in a gorgeous village. The host was incredibly helpful (even walking us to a local restaurant to make sure we got a space as everywhere was fully booked). We felt incredibly welcome, had comfy beds, a lovely room, and everything we needed.
