Clean & comfy rooms. Good breakfast. Very well organised homestay. Sunset tour was really nice. Really recommend!

SECOND HOPE LODGE asub Padangis, 2,7 km kaugusel Samudra rannast. Kohapeal on aed, terrass ja grillimisvahendid. Majutusasutus asub 700 meetri kaugusel Siti Nurbaya sillast ja pakub kogu päeva valvet.... Stayed here before and after a mentawai trip. THIS IS HE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PADANG. Great location but the staff are what make this place. So friendly and hospital. We aye together in the evenings like a family and in the day the staff go out of their way to take you on trips to their local village or tourist spots. Highly recommend 🫶🙏

Hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemaja Hub Tata asub Tuk Tuk'is. Külalistemajal on aed. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade järvele. Ilusa ilmaga on külalised teretulnud välja istuma. This is one of the nicest places (guesthouses) I have ever stayed on my travels. I had 1 of the 2 rooms downstairs right by the water, get up and from your bed you have a view of the lake and the mountains.  Fantastic owner Nia but also a very good and friendly team behind her give you a very welcome feeling right away. I really can't say anything negative about this accommodation. Please note that this is a guesthouse, not a 5* luxury hotel.  The small beautifully maintained garden and all the plants everywhere contribute to a very nice atmosphere.  Please note that the rooms downstairs are more difficult to reach for people who are not very mobile due to the steep stairs (15 steps). There are rooms higher up but of course they lack the charm of staying close to the water.  The restaurant of this guesthouse (with a very nice view) is also worth it. A few special things on the menu but super tasty; definitely try the immune booster. The best restaurants for dinner for me (Hub Tata restaurant closes at 7PM) are on the other side of Tuktuk (15-20 minutes walk) but you can also rent a scooter at Nia.  I would have liked to stay longer but the room was fully booked so book in advance and keep in mind that the Samosir peninsula is so nice that you will probably want to stay longer than planned.

Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek asub Bukit Lawangis. Kodumajutusel on tasuta eraparkla, ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. I had a wonderful experience at the Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Hotel. They helped to arrange everything for me. The jungle trek was great and we were fed so much food that we could not finish it all. Brian explained so many things to us and we got to see many animals.

Air Manise rand on 1,2 km kaugusel. 8 minuti kaugusel on The view padang, Amazing view, Food, drink, sleep, transport. Mentawai kiirparvlaev on hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutus, mis asub Padangis. Excellent guest house, I highly recommend the view for your stay in Padang or Mentawai. Robert (British) picked me up from the airport for 250,000 idr. The guest house is located a few minutes from the town centre and the Mentawai ferry port. It is on the hill side, 100m above the beach with an incredible view of the ocean. The sunsets are magnificent. Unlike the city centre, the place is very quiet so you can sleep very well. The rooms are very clean and bright and the largest room upstairs has a balcony with a breathtaking view. One room has its own bathroom and the shared bathroom is spacious, clean and has a real shower with hot water. I was supposed to stay for 2 days, I went back for another 10 days. You can rent a scooter at the guest house or ask Robert to take you somewhere (leaving a tip is always good). You can use the washing machine for free. Coffee, tea and hot and cold water are free as well . You can eat on the premises or in the restaurants on the street. There is a choice of breakfast (Indonesian or continental). Robert and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating and does his best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. So after having stayed in several hotels in Padang, I will only come back here.

JUNGLE Life - Külalismaja - Matka- ja transpordiga Only Book With Us asub Bukit Lawangis. Kohapeal on vaatega bassein ja jõevaated. Alek the owner is an amazing host, he really takes care of you. The jungle 2 day jungle trek he arranged was amazing too. The accommodation in right in the middle of the town and close to everything. The rooms are good and the bed is super comfy. All in all, I had an amazing stay here.

Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

Best part about this place is the hospitality and the atmosphere, the hosts are wonderfully warm and hospitable. The atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful. Lots of greens and plants around, lovely village like location. You will have a peace of mind here.

Istumisnurgaga Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys asub Bukit Lawangis. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The staff are so kind and friendly, really made the experience great. Sarah was very communicative during the booking process too. Eli the chef is really talented, we wished we could have eaten more there!

Kupu Kupu Garden Guest House & Cafe asub Sumatra piirkonnas Bukit Lawangi väikeses külas. Butiikhotell asub Bohoroki jõe kõrval ja Mount Leuseri rahvuspargi vastas. The location is chill, far away from noisy motorbikes. Also the friendliness of the staf. The hosts (Arif and Risky) were very entertaining and honest. They want you to have a good time and will do everything to make you feel at home. They organise good trustfull and knowledgeable guides for the jungle trek and transport. Highly recommend it. We absolutely loved the laid back jungle spirit of Kupu Kupu Garden.
