The guesthouse’s location is superb, next to the church and the start of the hiking trail to Shkhara glacier. The village’s panorama viewpoint is just 3 minutes walk away, and you can be there easily in the early morning before the tourists arrive. The rooms are clean with stupendous views and en suite bathroom. Mamuka’s mother is a whiz in the kitchen: we booked dinner and breakfast with her during our 2 night stay and every meal was delicious. Home-made jams, milk from the family cows, produce from their garden and so on. Mamuka was also very responsive and helpful with advice and booking of transfer vehicle, and we learnt a lot about life in the mountains.

This is such a lovely guest house. The owner Taona is the sweetest woman & although she doesn’t speak English you can communicate & feel her warmth. Both her children speak good English. Her breakfasts are amazing. Home cooked, plentiful, varied & so delicious. We had a comfortable triple room at the back with a view up to the hill behind with cows & horses grazing. It is a small farm with a lovely rural feel just outside the town of Mestia so very peaceful. There is a great restaurant in the town which Taona recommended. We had good walks & drove to Ushguli which was beautiful. I woukd 100% Recommend this guest house & it’s very good value. Thank you Taona. ❤️

Matua guest house mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Jvari. This has been the best travelling experience the three of us have had so far. The hosts are beyond welcome, the hostess cooked a delicious dinner and served home wine (the orange wine is a masterpiece, bought a bottle for my dad). At night you see a sky full of stars and in the morning you wake up to 🐓“singing” We decided to stay here again when driving from Svanetia.

Terletak di Mestia dan dalam jarak 12-minit berjalan kaki dari Muzium Sejarah dan Etnografi, "White House Nakani" - Guesthouse near the centre mempunyai taman, bilik bebas rokok, dan WiFi percuma. The room was very nice - big and with large terrace. The communication with the host was easy and smooth and I had there the best breakfast for my whole stay in Georgia!
