Beautiful place, very cosy and feels like being in someones home, lovely host - amazingly well equipped kitchen so I could make all my food as when I am home. Private entrance, and patio with outdoor furniture, car parked behind a fence right at the property.

Great location, close to town but also quiet and lots of nature around. I really enjoyed just walking/running around the area, sitting outside on the picnic table. The host also gave us lots of privacy which we appreciated very much.

Lovely location with a unique character. Friendly hosts, who live next door and clear instructions. Free and convenient parking 2 minutes walk from the front door. The kitchen is well equiped. Vollenhove is a cute little city. There is ample shopping within a five minute walk of the house. The place is excellent for exploring the wider surroundings. Zwolle is a great city at about a half hour drive. There are also lots of other nice destinations nearby, like Kampen, Urk, Lemmer, and all kinds of beautiful watery landscapes (rivers, IJsselmeer, polderlandscapes, peat extractions etc.) giving you a historic crash course in how-to-build-the-netherlands. Amsterdam is only slightly over an hour away too.

We loved it. The place to beautiful. The oldest barn on the property converted to a lovely modern apartment. The large bedroom upstairs has an incredible view towards the river with binoculars and bird charts waiting to be used. The bed has split controls with adjustable head and feet positions. The downstairs bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom is large and shower was good. Large supply of nice towels. We opted out of breakfast but I'm sure it was great as the welcome gift of cheese, worst, nuts and juice was very appreciated. And we got some fresh milk for our coffee! The bouquet of fresh flowers was so sweet. The owner was on site and wonderful. We could park our bicycles in the barn next door. Wifi was strong and TV had streamers you could watch without needing password. Lovely countryside. Looks exactly like photos.
