Un host davvero simpatico è super disponibile. È venuto a prenderci alla stazione dei bus con il suo tuk tuk gratuitamente visto che la casa è a due km di distanza. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio lavanderia e abbiamo anche cenato da loro. Riso e curry davvero molto buono. Cittadina poco turistica , ma nei dintorni ci sono davvero tanti lunghi da visitare. Abbiamo visto cascate e tanti templi bellissimi dove regnava la pace e il silenzio. davvero felice di aver soggiornato quì per due giorni. Vale davvero la pena uscire dalle rotte turistiche! Non posso che consigliare quest' alloggio

Situato a Kataragama, a 18 km da Tissa Wewa, Lake Front Yala Safari prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. Host is very kind and welcoming. She gave us tea on arrival and bananas from her own garden which tasted amazing. Immaculatley clean room and bathroom. Room is very big and spacious Also had drying racks which was very handy, also had drying racks which was very handy. Very good air conditioning in room. Organised our safari ar Yala National Park before arrival. Great value for money. Would highy recommend.

Situato a Bibile, a 46 km da Parco Nazionale Maduru Oya, Nobel Regency prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. A bit hard to find, behind some shops and apartments, you have to go under the building through, well, a short tunnel really. Maps is fairly accurate so just look for a gap in the building. On the other side is an old house which is the Nobel Regency which should have seemed "hemmed in" by the apartments, but it wasn't as it is set in lovely gardens with many plants. It's an old house with old furniture, retro but very comfortable. Multiple common areas both inside and outside. I had a very big room with a huge bathroom which was original to the house and dated, a bit of a time-warp really, but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Good a/c and fan. Hot water and good water pressure. Comfortable bed. I was hot and tired from my motorbike journey and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They bought me a welcome drink. After I had showered, I asked for tea and a snack, and they bought me fruit and then tea and cake on the verandah. Nothing was too much trouble. I sat and read a book and they kept checking that I was comfortable and had everything that I wanted. I did notice that one of the rooms was small because they had added an en-suite bathroom in a sort of prefabricated unit inside the room. That seemed a bit unusual. But I suppose it is perfectly functional. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Very good Sri Lankan curries and rice dinner, fruit and dessert. Breakfast was also very good. This was a perfect choice for me. I didn't explore the town as I was only on a stopover for one night, and I left early the next morning. It was very comfortable with good food and fantastic hosts.

Mayka is a lovely host! She and her husband organised an amazing safari for us and were really helpful and accommodating.

The staff was absolutely welcoming and the room was very comfortable. We were greeted with a warm cup of tea, it was wonderful :) Their large garden is a great space to chill, and they also have a book exchange! Thank you :)

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.

Abbiamo passato un paio di notti in questo angolo di paradiso immerso nella natura. Un luogo tranquillo, autentico, dove ci si sente subito a casa. Micheal è un host speciale: gentile, accogliente e sempre disponibile. La stanza è semplice ma pulita, e ci ha coccolati con colazioni e cene deliziose. È bello incontrare persone che vivono con semplicità e sorridono con il cuore. Lo consigliamo davvero!

The owner is super friendly and very kind. You feel at home from the very first moment. The room and hotel are very clean. We did the safari with them, and it was awesome at a good price. 100% recommended if you want a pleasant, friendly, and quiet place on your way to Yala.
