She thoughtfully provided breakfast ingredients for us to get us started the next morning. She provided a very comprehensive welcome book with lots of good suggestions about places to eat, activities and local resources. Pat is a genuinely pleasant person who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The Royal Escape is well worth a stay.

The house itself is beautiful, and the garden is filled with many trees baring fruits like mango, papaya, grapefruit, and coconuts. It's a dream to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and peaceful atmosphere. Maria is also very helpful and she gave me lots of information and tips about island life. Also she gave me a wonderful welcome and showed me around the house and explained to me how everything worked. I travelled to and around the area via the local bus. The Sol gas station is just minutes away from the house. Just tell the driver "Millennium Highway Sol Station" from Castries and you are on your way. Everyone is so friendly on the island, just ask a question, and you will be sure to get the answer. My room was also great. Exactly what I needed. A comfortable bed and a shower. There was also a TV and Air Conditioning (which i didn't need). The whole house is very clean and maintains the island feel. There's a communal kitchen, so you can cook, use the fridge, and there's place to put your local fruits. I would definitely book again.
