From arrival, Kishaba-san went out of his way to invite me to the local Kyuubon celebrations over the next few nights, and while there he introduced me to his family and a couple others. When I left to Naha and stayed at another hostel, I felt surprised by how much more comfortable and welcome I felt staying at Kishaba. Amenities are suitable, location is great, facilities are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, spacious, and private. Above all though, staying here made my trip to Ishigaki that much more memorable.

We chose to stay here for 2 weeks while working remotely and had an absolutely wonderful stay at Andy & Haruko’s property. Guest House Ishigaki is a beautiful, extremely clean, and well-designed house equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Farmer’s Market and tons of great shops and restaurants are a stone’s throw away, as well as the ferry to other nearby islands. We really appreciated Andy & Haruko’s attention to sustainability throughout, and their thoughtful touches, like the cold jasmine tea in the fridge at all times to cool down from the heat. We had let them know in advance that we would be working remotely and they even created a desk space for us in our room. And the beds were SO comfortable - we had the best sleeps here of our 2 months in Japan. Though the location and amenities were amazing, the best part about our stay was undoubtedly the people; Andy, Haruko and Yuichiro are some of the loveliest people who genuinely care about their guests. We could not have wished for anything more!

Clean room, kind staff. On the day of check in , muu-chan, one of the guest house manager is very kind and luckily we had a great time with other wonderful guests from all over the world, the stars we saw together at night on the near by beach were beautiful! This is one of the best guest house for me.

I'd like to give the place a bad score, just so this absolute gem of a place will not be full next time I come! lovely staff, lovely facilities, lively garden and grill area, overall 10/10!

I was really satisfied and happy to stay four night in this nice, comfortable and so familierized guesthouse. The place it's located in a great place in the heart of Isghigaki, very close to the bus station and the port All the area are clean and equipped with all necessary you need, you can rent also the snorkeling equipment. The owner Mr Shingo it's a great person very kindly, friendly and available for all suggestions you need, I'm also happy to known many people for different country of the world and I felt like I was at home in a big family, thanks very much for the hospitallity, I hope absolutely to return in future!

The hotel is amazing. The staff is super friendly and sweet. The breakfast was delicious and the lady even changed it up a bit every day and was happy to make it vegetarian for me. Also the view was beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and room had everything you need. There's a fridge you can use as well. The location is very quiet, I was able to get around by foot and public transport. There's also a bike rental in town, just don't expect much.

Struttura gestita molto bene, pulizia perfetta e casa molto grande dove la condivisione di certi servizi con gli altri pochi ospiti( cucina e bagni) non crea nessun problema.
