Romey and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We went out for dinner, but wished we had reserved a meal with Romey as we were able to sample a bit and it was delicious!

ペンション桜家 features air-conditioned guest accommodation in Shimoda, 600 metres from Shirahama Ohama Beach, 47 km from Koibito Misaki Cape and 50 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The owner is incredibly friendly. The view is stunning. We enjoyed a bath each night in the bathhouse. A short walk to an incredible beach.

Located in Higashiizu, 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The owners are amazing, they really care about you being comfortable. The area is super quiet, it’s a small and beautiful town. You can take a train (every 30minutes) to koghen or atagawa which has restaurants and a beach, it’s one stop from hokawa. I’d really recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep.
