The hospitality was warm and personal, and the home-cooked meals, especially dinner, were absolutely delicious. Rani went above and beyond to help us secure a last minute jeep booking to visit Mt Bromo, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

Siamo stati solo una notte ma la signora Marie è stata stupenda con noi. L’ avevo scelto per la vicinanza al Monte bromo e grazie a Marie ci ha organizzato sia il tour ( che poi prontamente ci ha anche spostato per permetterci di farlo in quanto avevamo l aereo in ritardo) che gli spostamenti. Infine è immerso nel verde, stanza essenziale ma pulita … per quello che cercavamo perfetto.

If you want peace and quiet, and the feeling of close with the nature, this is the place for you. The place has everything, from the friendly and helpful staff to the sounds and smells of nature. We had a mixed feeling about the location. It’s relatively close to the Tegalluar Whoosh train station (around 30 mins by car) but quite far from the city center or Dago or Lembang area. If you want to see Bandung too, maybe it’s best to stay in two different places because it’s just more convenient. All the photos are representative of the reality. While the place is quite far from restaurants, it actually offers decent and rather affordable food and beverages. All made with TLC. Value for money was also excellent.

Con un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e il WiFi gratuito, Mocca Guest House è ubicato a Banyuwangi, a 16 km da Watu Dodol. We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.
