There were fresh pastries every morning and a range of free tea/coffee 24 hours a day. (This was a very much appreciated touch when we got in from our late flight). The staff were incredible - super friendly from the receptionists to the cleaners. They are a credit to the hotel. The rooms were the essence of comfort with great aircon and mattresses. We had a room with a balcony over looking the pool which was stunning - it felt like pure luxury. There was a mini fridge in the room also which had a range of non alcoholic to alcoholic beverages at extremely reasonable rates! We also used the mini fridge to store some drinks etc we bought from the spar which is a 2 minute walk away. The pool was spotless and had lovely loungers to relax on which had fresh towels on them in the morning. The hotel was in walking distance to Split old town but an uber/bolt only cost €4.80 most days. There is a spar, cafe, chemist etc all within a 2/3 minute walk from the hotel. We cannot wait to come back here and the only negative thing we have to say is we are sad we didn't stay longer!

The room was clean and nice decorated. The building is historic so it has some stone walls, nice. The windows are good to isolate from the noise of the animated promenade. The view is fantastic! The bed is comfortable although I felt a slight smell of dirt (perhaps in the mattress or in the sheets, I did not investigate), human smell. The sheets were of good quality. The bathroom is clean, nice and comfortable. Towels of good quality. We stayed 2 nights and there is no change of towel or room cleaning. I suppose that you can request the service by paying a fee. There is no water bottles courtesy’s as you can drink from the tap, but there is a small fridge. You are provided with a kettle and some tea bags/instant coffee. The room is in the 3rd floor by stairs. I recommend the room with beach front views. We rented a room with view to the back but it had humidity smell, fortunately the see view room was free and we payed the difference to change. It was a good experience to stay at Palms Promenade. It is close to everything.
