Note: The last stretch of road, about 13 kilometers, is unpaved. We traveled it with a low rental car. We had no problems but of course you have to go very slowly. During the journey we saw giraffes, impalas, zebras... Spectacular!!! At the entrance to the reserve they sell wood and ice at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!

Their local perspective, knowledge and stories added a unique twist compared to other game drives we've done. Never was the outgoing friendly Energetic personality while Mateo added a sense of safety in the bush. As mentioned they both have outstanding knowledge. Never's game drives are like a fun learning experience while driving through the African bush. Mateo has many years of experience in tracking and we enjoyed his in depth knowledge. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Pictures of the Bungalow did not do it justice. It was Perfect. We loved everything about the place. Staff's attention to detail. A very Intimate place catering to once's individual needs. Food was great

Featuring a bar, Summerplace Game Reserve is set in Vaalwater. The property features pool and garden views, and is 19 km from Madikela Private Game Reserve. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

With river views, Nyati Safari Lodge is set in Hoedspruit and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Nyati exceeded our expectations for our Kruger Safari experience. The Oliphant villas are amazing and we stayed in #6 which was the most private and such an amazing large villa. The staff are outstanding and the food, facilities and surrounds are incredible. You cannot get more up close with the amazing animals of Kruger than you do at Nyati! Special shout out to our favourite game drive guide Henry, who made the whole experience 10/10!

Accessible only by 4x4 vehicle or high suspension vehicle, this camps is located on the Gitlane Moonsicle Iudo African Community Cultural Site.

The tents have an en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette and tradtional lapa area. Unfortunately we got stuck in poor weather and didn't make it to the lodge for our stay but they were so kind to reach out and make sure we were safe, and offered any help we needed that i still wanted to leave a good review. Will make sure to make it here next time around.
