Howard and Fiona were very attentive and were excellent for advising on local areas to visit and places to explore. It is an adult only facility and dogs are allocated to certain areas to ensure it’s a tranquil and relaxing stay if that’s what you’re looking for. We walked from the camp site through the valley all the way to Ladram bay - ~3.5 hike but beautiful countryside and views of the ocean on the coastal path.

The surrounding view is stunning, owner was friendly and went above and beyond for our stay. Adding little personal touches. The dome decor is beautiful - on site facilities are clean. We even extended our stay by an extra day as we were so happy. A privilege to be the first to stay in the new dome tent - can't wait to come back.

The luxury tent has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The Bus on the Hill was an amazingly quirky place to stay. Waking up to the views from the top deck was such a special treat. We usually go out and about on a holiday but we just couldn't drag ourselves away from the wonderful vistas. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We have totally recharged our batteries and even had a BBQ for breakfast. The hosts balanced a professional but friendly approach. And although they messaged to let us know we could get in touch if we needed anything, they didn't turn up and bother us at all (as some hosts do!). We would thoroughly recommend The Bus on the Hill if anyone is looking for an idyllic, off grid retreat. We can't thank Jane and Richard enough for letting us stay, and hopefully we'll be back again next year to celebrate Andrew's birthday.

It is absolutely stunning and every little detail is well thought out and considered, making it the most comfortable and enjoyable stay you'll find anywhere. Warm, clean, and packed with everything you need for a weekend away. Games, towels, cosy beds, a well stocked kitchen, we found everything we needed. The most amazing location which really gets you away from it all. Highly recommend and we'd definitely stay again.
