Camping Les Maraises, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, 2.4 km from La Cible, 28 km from La Rochelle Train Station, as well as 29 km from L'Espace Encan. This was my second time renting a mobile home here and I'll be back every year. Great location, clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

Located in Les Portes-en-Ré, Le Phare features 2 heated pools one of which is covered. The camping is 30 metres from the beach. Bike excursions, visits of local producers, aquagym, and fitness lessons in the fitness room can be enjoyed on site all year long. We arrived at the campsite very late and we were welcome by Ben, so friendly and helpful, brought us to our mobile home and brought us back to the campsite restaurant on his buggy. We were exhausted from the travelling so it was very nice of him to do so. The mobile home was very clean and modern, has everything you need, inside and outside, to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The facilities onsite were amazing, for kids and for adults ! very close to the beach and the shop. The bus stop is also very near (as we did not hire bikes nor did we rent a car) The restaurant at the campsite was fabulous, lovely food and breakfast to order, which Jimmy & Lilly were just lovely to us ! They have a separate little area also with a bar and outdoors seats, which was lovely too !

The mobile homes will provide you with a terrace and a seating area. They also have a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator, and a private bathroom with a shower.

In the heart of the Bragauds forest between the village of Sainte Marie de Ré and Rivedoux beach, the Fougères camping offers a calm and wooded environment. Great value for money, basic but very clean and well equipped. Lovely pool. Staff very helpful. Rented bikes - fantastic. Used hot tub and it was lovely experience - worth the visit. Would recommend.

Set just 1 km from Gros Jonc Beach, Camping La Prée offers accommodation in Les Portes with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as full-day security. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The campground features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. The tent was lovely, friendly helpful staff. The bar was nice to go to in the evening. We were too late for the pool but it looked nice and clean.

Providing free private parking, the 2-star campground is 500 metres from Plage du petit sergent. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The location was excellent, almost direct access onto a dog friendly beach which was our main aim.

Located just 800 metres from Plage de la Côte Sauvage, Camping Les Perouses offers accommodation in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines with access to a garden, a bar, as well as private check-in and check-out. Featuring bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The campground also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Very quaint and clean cabins. Staff very helpful and great location. Bike rentals available for reasonable fee.

A camping located in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré at a walking distance from the beach, Le Suroit offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, an indoor year-round pool as well as a children’s playground and entertainment staff. Good location for the beach. Accommodation clean. It felt safe for our children.

Quiet, low key location with beautiful beaches in proximity

Camping Les Peupliers is located on L’Ile de Ré Island, just 800 metres from the beach and has a seasonal outdoor pool with slides and a paddling pool. A fitness room, sauna, hammam, sports facilities, boules court, and a beach-volley field can be enjoyed on site from April to September. pool and facilities very clean. Lovely position on the island

Facing the seafront in Rivedoux-Plage, Campings Le Platin La Redoute is a campground, featuring a year-round outdoor pool and private parking. The property is located 500 metres from Plage Sud, 16 km from La Rochelle Train Station and 17 km from L'Espace Encan. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. We loved that we had a chalet near to the beach, just a 2 min walk under the road tunnel. The chalet was perfect for a 4 night stay. Plenty of plug sockets. The language barrier meant there were miscommunications - so when you book your leaving time, note that someone will visit you and the chalet to check it before you leave. Also, the itinerary of goods needs to be completed as soon as you arrive so staff know what’s missing/broken. We were fortunate that a couple of staff spoke some English - and they were friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Riverdoux Plage before so knew it was a lovely sandy beach great for kids and surfers and kites. Do remember to book dinner in restaurants as they tend to fill quickly. No impromptu bookings accepted when September hits.
