Glamping Sites in Monchique

The location was fantastic and easy to get to. I had never camped alone before, and the Glamping set up is perfect for beginners. There are small individual wooden bathrooms close to each beautiful tent and an amazing natural pool so you can cool off when it it warmer. The staff is amazing and solves any problem you may have. There are farm animals in the park, so you really feel you are in nature. The views are great and you are close to Portimão, but you get to sleep in a forest! A relaxing environment if you want to get away from civilization, but you can be connected if you want to work online, because they have good electricity connections in the bathrooms and if you take a good internet router you get a good connection. The restaurant also has internet in case you need it! All in all, a fabulous experience, to detach from stress, detox from social media, coffee, or anything else that might have you running on empty! Perfect to recharge your batteries and to remember how important the simple things are in life! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic place, low on civilization and commercialism. Contact with nature, wonderful birdsong, evening concerts of crickets and cicadas. Wonderful animals, amazing experiences in bathing in a natural lake with very friendly fish. Outdoor kitchen, all dishes tasted delicious. Beautiful view of the hills covered with cork oaks. Incredible and unique climate. Everything mega ECO.

The most incredible overnight stay ive ever had. We wish we knew about this place sooner amd could of book more nights here. Its so peaceful and more luxurious than any hotel ive stayed at. A real tranquil and personal experience. I couldnt recommend the place more, it really is the best experience ive ever had and in my opinion priced too cheap.

We spent a wonderful 1-week holiday at the tiny house. The house is nestled away in the hinterland of the Algarve in a very small, quiet village, in the middle of a permaculture food forest garden. You share the garden with the two hosts, chickens, cats and many birds and lots of plants, of course. It's very relaxing to wake up early with the animals and enjoy the sun and breakfast on the private tiny house terrasse. A chicken or two might pop by to check if you dropped something yummy to eat. They are really cude and friendly. The hosts, very kind twin sisters from France, respect your privacy and will leave you alone, if this is what you desire, or engage with you with a wide open heart, if you signal an interest in getting to know them and learn more about their project. In fact, we were promptly invited to a delicious home-made pizza on their own terrasse and had a lovely evening together. The tiny house itself is very simple but cosy, especially the sleeping loft. We didn't use the kitchen much, except for preparing breakfast, but cooking dinner would also not be a problem. There is a stove and oven and even some condiments to use. You might want to be aware that the house features a dry toilet, e.g. a bucket with woodchips. It takes some getting used to seeing your "donations". In the end it became a weirdly peaceful routine to take the bucket with the liquids, add some water and grace some plants with nutrients. As for the more solid parts, you just add woodchips and drop everything off in a designated dry toilet compost bin, thereby contributing to a nutrient cycle being closed eventually. The house is very stategically located for some wonderful day trips to Sagres, Monchique, Alte, Olhao, Faro, Lagos, etc. And if you feel like staying in the permaculture paradise you can choose to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing Ayurvedic massage or a one-on-one yoga lesson in an absolutely beautiful yurt.

We had a marvellous experience. Being connected with nature, keeping an high level of comfort is a must. We will be doing this again in the near future

Location, safe, comfortable and cosy. Owner was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the walk in the morning with my little dog and met the resident dog who was friendly and playful. Thank you.

We really loved staying at Nova Alofa, Loes and Mario are very nice and welcoming. We stayed at the caravan and it was cozy and quiet, a place to relax and enjoy the nature. We'll surely come back when in Portugal. Thank you ❤️ Roberta and Alexiei

Beautiful location looking up to Monchique and big starry nights. We had everything we needed to a very high quality, tastefully renovated caravan, outdoor cooking and the best shower. Love what Jess and Mayo are doing, creating rejuvenating space where it is worth taking time to relax and enjoy it. Perfect hosts.
