It seems like we are in the forest when we lived in leopard camp.monkeys jump on the trees,the peacock calls from time to time,butterfly always flying around us.it's like a fairtale world. Staffs are all hospitable and helpful,thinking ahead of us. The bed is dry and comfortable. It has to be appreciated the safari.That is a amazing trip.guided actually professional,we recognized many birds,saw the leopard as we wished. All in all,the leopard camp is valuable camp in Yala.

Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.

We stayed at the leopards nest for 1 night and it truly was an unforgettable experience. After reading some mixed reviews, it exceeded our expectations and I am so happy we planned this into our itinerary. The hotel sent driver information which we shared with our driver and everything was seemless. The safari truck was waiting for us and we did the afternoon safari. The guy was great, really knowledgeable- we were lucky enough to see elephants really close up and many other amazing animals. He then took us to the hotel around 6pm. We had a bbq dinner which was very cute, the food was really good quality too. We booked a sky nest and had a couple of little frog visitors in the bathroom but we didn’t mind, they added to the memories! The sky nest was really clean and more comfortable than we were expecting. WiFi only worked in the main restaurant areas but that’s okay, it was nice to be off the grid for one night. Again, breakfast exceeded our expectations and the hotel liaised with our driver for a smooth pick up. The staff are lovely and I fully recommend for one night if you want a safari and jungle glamping experience.

The luxury tents were so thoughtfully prepared, with the softest fluffiest towels we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Great relaxation areas dotted around the property. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and we loved the dinner around the campfire, complete with linen table service. We really felt like we had stepped into a 5-star glamping experience.

Where do I begin... What an experience! We were picked up exactly at the time they said by the great jeep that already put us in the safari mood. We were expexting a nice tent but were blown away by the size of the tent and how comfortable it was. The dinner was nice as was the lunch the next day, but we didn´t come for food. THE BEST things were the night walk (scary!!!!) and the safari tour the next day and we had a great guide, Jelo, who made it extra fun and informative. Great sense of humor and an all round great guy! We saw the leopard! And monkeys, water buffalos, crocodiles, the list is long. The scenery took our breath away. Everything ran like clock work, very professional and friendly.

Staying at this treehouse was the best decision we made for our Yala safari trip! It felt like living out a childhood dream—sleeping high among the trees in a cozy, clean space with everything we needed. The property is huge and full of charm: a beautiful BBQ spot by the firepit, a swing made from a tree trunk, and torch-lit pathways perfect for evening walks. The safari experience began right at the location—just outside the grounds, there’s a small watering hole where animals come to drink! The host was incredibly kind and helpful—he arranged our transfer, cooked delicious meals, and made sure we lacked nothing. The only minor downside was that the only power outlets were in the host’s house, but we managed just fine with power banks. A few extra tips: - The shower is outdoors (summer-style), but in the Sri Lankan heat, that’s actually a plus! - Bring cat food—there’s an adorable little cat crew here. - Book at least 2-3 nights; we didn’t want to leave! With only a few treehouses (I think three, maybe more being built?), it’s great for small or large groups. One of the most unique and atmospheric places I’ve ever stayed—highly recommend!
