The location is close enough to the city without being in the downtown area which has a huge amount of druggies and homeless The proximity to fishernans wharf meant i could walk there but also its near a safeway and you can walk to the bridge too

At first I was a bit worried reading all the reviews, but in the end it was all good! Location - very convenient, not that far from the center, you can take a short ride or take 30-60 mins walk if it's a good weather. Parking - for free, perfect for SF! Room - very spacious, nothing to complain about! Staff - no issues at all, I've met 2 different guys at the reception, not one of them was anyhow rude, as some people have mentioned here. Definitely worth the price!

This property is in a great location, the Cow Hollow district is safe, with lots if cafes and shops. The rooms are comfortable with comfortable beds, a bit dated but clean, with free parking and we would definitely stay here again

We were initially welcomed at the reception desk by a very friendly fellow, he explained some hot spots around the motel, guided us into our sheltered parking spot. The room was fab, I loved it, very romantic and had a lot of character. I stayed there for 2 nights, but would have been happy with 7. Location was great, it was within walking distance of a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Excellent location, walking distance to many main attractions & areas. Check in staff were really helpful & recommended a few places. Family room was great, warm shower. Fridge & small balcony area.

We had a very pleasant stay in Chelsea Inn. The room was spacious, clean and well equiped. We had a chance to chat with the manager who was very welcoming and gave us loads of useful tips about San Francisco. Hope to come back again in the future.
