Located just a few steps from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Il Belvedere boasts a furnished terrace with panoramic views of Matera. WiFi is free throughout the property. Everything! The location was perfect, the room was great and the staff was very helpful. Matera is a stunning place to visit, but as with all ancient towns, it can be a challenge to navigate. The Belvedere II avoids that issue as it is perfectly located on the way into the town, this means no hauling suitcases through the labyrinth. There is also a great, secure, covered parking lot very close by.

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Everything! It was more than expected.

Location of hotel is right in the centre of Sassi. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with a great selection of food, probably one of the best I have had in an Italian Hotel. Aperitivo in the evening came with so much stuzzuchini (nibbles served with your drink) that we had to push out our dinner booking by an hour :-). Highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean and great swimming pool. The location was ideal for walking towards the city. Through the little gate you were immediately on the right path.

Amazing traditional house in a fantastic location, right in Matera's "Sassi". Very unique and curated accomodation, clean and spacious. The host was very friendly and helpful, great at giving us instructions on how to get there.

Antico Convicino Rooms & Suites is located in the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site and is set in a 16th-century building. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. The cave room was enormous big and unique Unbelievable and another cave behind

Super convenient location and is actually inside the old town area. I don't always go for the breakfast in hotels but the one served by Monica was great. Overall, 10/10.
