Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was an exceptional value for the price. It worked very well for our family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was amazing. We also had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were great. Highly recommend this hotel for families!

On the banks of the River Shannon, Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone is situated in the town centre, overlooking the historic Athlone Castle. The hotel has a modern leisure club and stylish restaurant. Very comfortable bed, spacious, fresh, clean room with bathtub and a shower. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Food was amazing, in the restaurant, breakfast and room service. Staff was very nice even at the reception

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. the room was very big and beatiful amazing bathroom!!

Located in Athlone town centre, Arch House is just 2 minutes' walk from the historic Athlone Castle, Old Town, and River Shannon. Very warm friendly and helpful owners at this B and B and was pleased we stayed there. Was in a great location to all the sites in this gorgeous town. And thankyou for helping us find more accommodation in this town to stay another night. We loved this town.

Next to Mullingar Train Station, The Newbury has free super-fast WiFi, free parking and a bar that serves good food. Staff very communicative and helpful, lovely spacious room. Great location.
