Helping with organizing transport, breakfast, cleaning of personal items and generally being a great host! A Syros local he can provide interesting and helpful background on the island and the town in general. We valued his restaurant and beach recommendations. Thank you!

Neoclassical Hotel Aktaion Syros asub 1843. aastal ehitatud hoones Ermoupolise sadamas, jalutuskäigu kaugusel linna ajaloolisest keskusest. Full marks and bravo to owners and staff of Aktaion hotel! Location was superb right on the waterfront of Ermoupolis many rooms enjoy unlimited sea views of bay and the hills above making it a postcard perfect location. This is a very historic aristocratic mansion kept in excellent condition a perfect blend of traditional style with modern facilities and comforts. Professional staff very knowledgeable with spot on recommendations for sightseeing restaurants and more, truly every advise was with no doubt excellent! Breakfast was very generous, very tasty large portions and great variety of choices. Excellent location service and atmosphere will be back for sure! The top shared balcony is postcard perfect ! Brazzera asub Finikase rannakülas kaunil Finikase lahel Sürosose saare edelaosas, vaid 17-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel peamisest sadamast. This little gem is under new management and the new proprietors Konstantina and Harold are the heart of the undertaking. Their open friendliness and genuine passion about the place make all the difference. Always helpful with the best tips for the island and more. The breakfast with fresh and local produce with delicious baked goods by Harold was another highlight. Our room had a fantastic view taking in the whole bay and the comfortable bed was heaven after days of busy exploring. The little fishing town was one of the loveliest on the island, a very good base from where to venture out. A rooftop terrace for a sundowner and the beach across the street made it a very relaxed spot for a very comfortable stay indeed. We wish them all the luck for many more successful seasons to come!

It was my preferred hotel in 2 months of travel trough out Europe. The place is beautiful, and tastefully decorated, the breakfast was really good and the bathing platform takes the entire staying to another level. The location is the best in Ermopoli. I ll be back.

The location was perfect for exploring Syros, and there's a swimming platform nearby with amazing views of the coastline, the hotel has beach towels if you ask! There's a bus stop in front of this property. Breakfast features a large assortment of fresh fruits, spinach and cheese pie, breads, eggs, fresh orange juice, and many other delicious items. And we loved dining on the outdoor terrace that has sublime seaviews. Our favourite staff member was the lovely young woman who served the breakfast. She was always smiling, helpful, and friendly. Our room was very small but the glorious sea view we had on the 2nd floor compensated. We stayed for a week (we did miss having extraroom and a kitchen for a week long stay). There's also an elevator to the 2nd floor. Beds were firm but comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. It was quiet at night. Our room was very clean and housekeeping was daily. Wonderful shower. There was a wardrobe to hang clothes and a safe.. We noticed that the bathroom walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But help was always available: when our bolt didn't work on our door, it was fixed immediately. There's also a coffee shop where you can purchase beverages. We really loved this hotel: the beautiful architecture, the location was easy walking distance to town, and a 20 minute walk from the port. It's a historical building that has gorgeous architectural features. It's beautiful and charming (and quirky too) boutique hotel. It's very special. Oh, and the WiFi was great. We'd return in a heartbeat!
