The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Location is perfect, very easy to get there from the airport and then all the sights can be easily reached on foot or by tram. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of things. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy and the whole room was quiet so nights were relaxing. Even the late (after midnight) check-in could be solved.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Everything was great. Special thanks to Kristina, who was very welcoming and a great host.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Great location, nice rooms, large shower, warm, quality beds and bedding, friendly staff, nice bar area.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Enjoyed staying here, it was very practical having the tramway direct to where I was going during my stay.
