Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. Love this hotel. Third stay. Always a warm welcome from ladies on reception and during breakfast. Excellent stylish, comfortable hotel at a fair price. Easy one stop on bus 30 outside hotel to Basel SBB and on to airport. Perfect overnight stop. Old town Basel just down steps behind hotel.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Location is perfect, very easy to get there from the airport and then all the sights can be easily reached on foot or by tram. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of things. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy and the whole room was quiet so nights were relaxing. Even the late (after midnight) check-in could be solved.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station. It's one of my best experiences! The location is perfect. Car parking is convenient and just in the hotel. The room was cozy and clean, and everything that could be needed was in the room. The coffee was good. I love this stay.

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates. The room is not bad. It is shared bathroom but it’s clean and they have multiple bathrooms and toilets. The hostel is near to the tram station. We got the free train ticket around basel. We did enjoy our stay there albeit for 1 night only.

The Hotel Victoria offers traditional hospitality and modern hotel comforts in the centre of Basel next to the main train station (SBB). Just overnight on the way to the airport. Couldn’t have a better location for that, beside the train station and bus to the airport outside the door.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. 3 blocks from city central 10 minute walk time to the Christmas Markets.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. The staff were extremely wonderful & friendly. Very willing to go the extra mile to make our stay fabulous! We were able to check in an hour early & they allowed us to check out 2 & a half hours late. It was so hot out they offered us water bottles every time we passed the desk. Even for our two dogs! Who they treated like royalty with a mat & dog bowls in the room. The free mini bar was awesome! We were so hot when we arrived, it was awesome to have cold water, juice & beer in the room to drink. The free public transportation access, 50% off to museums & 20CHF electric bike rentals were also wonderful perks! I wish we had stayed more than one night!

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. quality in everything - people, cleanness, breakfast, room size and facilities 👌

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. It was right by the train and metro, so perfect to get around where I needed.
