The view was absolutely spectacular as was the guest services when it came to making arrangements for transportation, dinner, etc. Breakfast staff and breakfast were wonderful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

it was in a great location for Varenna and the train station. Beautiful views. Very Clean and modern. very responsive host. a very enjoyable stay thank you.

We absolutely loved to stay at the Crotto di Gittana! The car ride up from the sea was a bit scary/exciting due to all the sharp curves and the narrow road but the reward when we got up to the hotel was fantastic! The lady in the reception was extremely friendly, and the view from our hotel room and from the different terraces was simply breathtaking. We brought our own parmesan, prosciutto and wine, and just loved sitting on the terrace the whole evening, taking in the extremely beautiful environment until the sun set. Great breakfast! Note: take the upper road through Perledo when driving to the hotel, that way the road will be a bit less curvy!

Thé appartement was spacious & we were able to walk our dog in the grounds. The grounds were quite large, but as we went there out is season there was only one other appartement in use. I would like to personally thank the owner. The lady was marvellous, explaining where we could visit & the best roads to take. Thank you so much. I will definitely return.

The views from this property are amazing even though we had ordinary weather the room is spacious and the included breakfast was delicious the bed was very comfortable and the shower spacious
