It is close to Monastir Airport and it is easily reachable by train from Monastir downtown. I would definitely love to visit again.

We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay. Thank you!

Hotel Dar Al Madina è situato a Mahdia, a 200 metri da Spiaggia della Corniche Mahdia e 44 km da Anfiteatro Romano di El Jem. Located inside the lovely old city. Renovated traditional house, very lovely interior and exterior. Very well prepared heart warming breakfast at the rooftop. Nice staff, family run place. Car park not nearby the hotel.

In un ottimo punto nel quartiere La Medina di Tunisi, Dar el médina è situato a 17 km da Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metri da Dar Lasram Museum e 500 metri da Kasbah Square. Where to start? The dar is a gorgeous old building, and we had a large room with an alcove and arches and a very high ceiling. The location is superb, right in the middle of the Medina, from which you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was incredible,with freshly squeezed orange juice, omelettes, fresh fruit, home-made jams, yogurt with granola. The staff are very kind and helpful, and they have arrangements with a taxi service that will take you to and from the airport, to the Bardo, etc. We could not have been more pleased with Dar Medina!
