We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay. Thank you!

In un ottimo punto nel quartiere La Medina di Tunisi, Dar el médina è situato a 17 km da Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metri da Dar Lasram Museum e 500 metri da Kasbah Square. Everything was perfect! We really wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures don’t even show how nice the place and the rooms are. The staff was extremely kind. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Location is perfect to explore Tunis medina. Breakfast is very abundant and varied. mostly sweet stuff, but we asked for savoury and we were brought some eggs. Not sure if it includes shakshuka - we thought it didn’t because ee didn’t receive it, but then we saw others eating it. In any case, the breakfast is a lot of food, so we suggest asking what it includes so you can choose what you want and enjoy it :)
