Yusuf was a very friendly and helpful host. We enjoyed the breakfast (included) outside under the arbor. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet, a little ways out of town, with a great view. No outside shoes are allowed in the building.

Maqsud is an incredible host, no request is too much and he went above and beyond on all aspects and arranged an excellent driver for a day trip to the seven lakes at a really fair price. We had an issue with border crossing back to Uzbekistan and he called ahead for us to check and arranged another excellent driver to get us there. The hotel was modern with AC and excellent breakfast with delicious halva and good coffee!

Set in Dushanbe, 2.2 km from Dushanbe Cable Car, The Rumi Hotel & Residences offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The staff was great, especially the manager who let us wait in the lobby after we checked out for a long time because our flights were early the next morning. Also, the free shuttle, the free laundry, free treats and coffee and juice all day… it was an incredible value. I’ll be staying at the Rumi every time I come to Tajikistan!
