Set in Nouakchott, Hôtel Semiramis City Center offers a shared lounge and bar. Open since 2008, the property is within 1 km of Grande Marche Market. Rooms have a balcony with a city view. Very comfortable, large, clean room with kettle and coffee machine. No noise from other rooms, close to large mosque so you will hear the call to prayer. Decent, and plentiful, breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful (though a little French or Arabic will certainly help you as while most staff did, some didn't speak English). Centrally located in a good area - supermarket just across the road and restaurants very close. Free airport transfer in both directions (very welcome as the airport I 30km or so from the city), driver was waiting with a name board at arrivals when I landed. Will definitely stay again as and when I return.

What I appreciated most was the absolute quiet—no noise during the day or at night, making it a true haven of peace. A truly remarkable experience—I highly recommend it!

Set in Nouakchott, FASQ Hotel offers a bar and free WiFi. Each accommodation at the 5-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub and a hammam. Clean, everything was working (the air conditioning, the hot water). No problem with payment with credit card in restaurants. Good meal.
