The staff were some of the kindest and most welcoming people we've ever met — always smiling, helpful, and making sure everything was perfect throughout our time there. The location couldn’t be better: right on the beach, with breathtaking sunsets you can enjoy every evening from the terrace. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — it felt so good to come back after a day at the beach or exploring to a fresh, clean space. That little detail made such a difference. And we can’t forget the two amazing dogs, Pilou and Naya, who instantly made us feel at home! So friendly and sweet, they added an extra touch of warmth to the whole experience. This place truly exceeded all expectations. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

I had an absolutely wonderful three days here! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. They even prepared a cake for me when they found out it was my birthday—such a lovely surprise! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Nosy Be!

We got to stop in town accidetially because of a car repair. The guesthouse was the best that could Happen to us. Even on a day the guesthouse was closed, we were allowed to stay one extra day.

Our gratitude to Manda and the gentleman at the reception as well as Larissa, Eric, Gabriel, the chef and all the beautiful staff who took care of us sometimes with just a smile or a kind word.

The Citizen si trova a Antananarivo ed è una struttura solo adulti con un giardino, un ristorante e un bar. You can see the lake from the room as well as the terrace. The nostalgic hotel offers good service on everything. Wifi is fast and stable. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It only takes them one minute to switch on the generator after the power cut. The restaurant attracts not only guests like me but also guests from outside. Their grilled zebu is really one-of-the-kind. I hope i can come back for the grilled zebu again. Don’t miss the sunset on the terrace. The upper town looks like a painting with the sunshine.

Owner goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and helps with whatever you need help with. We ended up having most of our meals at Anki Lodge as the food is amazing

Incredible place for a relatively good price. We were almost alone which helped. Bungalows are stunning, with an insane view on the desert in front. Beautiful terrace in front of your bungalow to watch sunrise and sunset. Showers are amazing and warm. Cleanliness is incredible. Food incredible, seems like a high end restaurant. Staff is super nice. Really an incredible stay in the middle of Isalo National Park.
