The rooms are spacious and well equipped. They have a great restaurant and a small heated outdoor pool. I've been here twice, hand down best hotel in the wide region.

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and well designed. The view of Lake Mývatn was just awesome from the bar and the restaurant. Best location possible. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Will use this hotel again on my next visit. Food in the restaurant was very good both diner and breakfast. Bonus was seeing the northern lights dance above the lava fields surrounding the hotel.
