Great place. A bit off the beaten track, but if you're looking for peace and quiet in an authentic Portuguese village, this is the place for you. The hosts are very helpful and nice. At this price you won't find a better room in Portugal! And there is a very cute dog on site!

Our stay was really amazing. Carla and Jose are so kind, so friendly and supporting people. It was the wormest stay in my life, I am really happy, that I knew such wonderful people! The House is great, very big, with a beautiful interior and exterior design with a cozy place for relax in the garden. It’s situated just a few min by walk from the Esmoriz station, a few steps from trail (Passadiços da Barrinha de Esmoriz), where just a few min by walk to the ocean. Big supermarket is also a few min by walk. Our stay was perfect! Thank you dear Carla and Jose! Appreciate yr kindness!

The historic atmosphere of the house and grounds was delightful. Breakfast was a cold continental buffet with ham, cheese, fresh croissants and other breads, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, jams, cakes and very good freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Presented at the time we requested and perfect for our needs. The grounds were magnificent, 140 acres of gardens, woods, river valley and cultivated areas for fruit vegetables and a large area given aside to blueberries. A beautiful swimming pool with diving board and sun loungers was also provided. Eduardo, the owner and his wife were very helpful, as was Antonio the manager. All in all, outstanding, and we had it all to ourselves.

The property is directly on the river, our room overlooked the waterfalls. The facilities, the outdoor spaces of the property. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Lovely pool (un-heated). It was gorgeous. We even spent time in the river. Lovely staff.

It was outstanding! I don't give a 10 too offen but this Casa deserves it ! The reality is better than the pictures, it is usually the other way around 30min from Porto center by car, you can park on the property The pool was available too Excellent staff and communication Great breakfast Rooms incl. bathrooms are new and overall very high standards Good price for value

Our party only stayed over for a night on route back to Lisbon - The owner was absolutely accommodating when it come to arranging what we needed when called upon. Continental breakfast in the morning was lovely and the host arranged our transport back the following morning to Porto, which was most welcome. A special thanks to Paulo... the hosts brother for taking us around. I would recommend that you stay at least for two days giving time to explore the surrounding area.
