The chalet, set in a building dating from 1940, is 34 km from Winterton Museum and 50 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Highbourne Cottages is truly a sight to behold. We had the pleasure of staying in the Protea Cottage. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, and it was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. The cottage features a double bed downstairs and two single beds upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the comfortable couch on the deck. While there are numerous hiking trails nearby, we opted to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of the property. We highly recommend Highbourne Cottages and look forward to returning in the future.

Ouhout Cottage was spacious, rustic yet tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were polite and assisted in any manner or form. The Farm Stall was a delight and were privileged to watch them milk the cows up front. Well worth it, book early to avoid disappointment. Professionally run establishment which only lends to a better experience.
