The location might be a hit or miss depending on what you are looking for - we came to spend a few days in Tropical Garden Self-Catering after we had already spent a week on Praslin and La Digue in accomodations located near the ocean and beaches, so the fact that Tropical Garden is located at a distance from any nearest beach and up in the mountains was not a drawback for us. Quite on the contrary: we noticed that at a higher altitude (around 330 metres ASL) the air in the morning was a bit more fresh and cool than at the sea level. Tropical Garden Self Catering, true to its name, is located within a beautiful garden from which we were encouraged by our hostess to pick starfruit straight from the tree. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains from its balcony. It is spacious and tastefully furnished, clean and cosy. The hostess Flossy is the heart and soul of this place - she gave us the most heartfelt welcome, taking time to explain which beaches are safe to swim, which trails she recommends for hiking, which buses to take to go to Victoria or to the nearest beach she recommends for swimming and snorkelling (Port Launay). When on one day wi-fi stopped working, she was on the phone with us and quickly resolved the issue. She organised a taxi for us, asking the driver on our behalf to take us to the hypermarket in Victoria and wait for us while we did our grocery shopping before taking us to the accomodation. We did not rent a car on Mahe and still managed to see most of the island travelling by bus - the bus stop is located witihin about 8 minutes walking distance from the accomodation. You just need to devote some time to study the SPTC bus schedule but once you decode it, there is no stopping you from seeing every corner of Mahe!

Daphne and her husband are wonderful hosts, and were there for us to plan our vacation and to help with all our wishes. Would definitely stay again!

Everything about our stay at Bois Joli was perfect. The villa is lovely and private, surrounded by jungle. The hosts, Richard and Judith, are so friendly, informative, and prompt. The location on a mountainside adds a sense of adventure and a change of pace from the usual accommodations, and very well placed, especially for exploring the south of Mahé and Victoria. A rental car really is necessary, unless you want to pay a lot for taxis. The design of the grounds, the villa, and the pool are aesthetically pleasing, calming, and done by Richard himself. This holiday home has a pool with a view, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. The holiday home features family rooms. Amazing location though a little further out than expected. Little shop a short walk down the hill for the basics. Amazing pool area and huge rooms with all mod cons, WiFi tv and kitchen area. Staff very helpful and great with the children. Taxi from the airport arranged and to the ferry for a great price.

Every unit boasts a private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a oven. A microwave and kettle are also available. Amazing stay in the peaceful place for the vacation as well as for the remote work. Annalise was attentive and helped us with our questions, coocked us the most delicious fish in a garlic souce as well as chicken in curry. Cleaning was done perfectly with attention to each detail and towels changing. The villa was cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, an air conditioner, and a big terrace with a beautiful view. The location was perfect. It's around 10 minutes' drive to the Petite Anse Beach - one of the most beautiful in the island - we started almost each morning there (we were almost alone in the beach at this time). Another beautiful beach Baie Lazare just 5 minutes drive. To the famous Copolia Trail is about 40 minutes by car. The minumarket is in 10 minutes walk. In the nearby village you can taste delicious seychells street food. The best pizza on the island is in Dzayapizza, and you can make an order with a delivery to the apartment. We had a great stay in the Annalise's villa and defenetly recommend this place.

Villa Kordia is located at Pointe aux Sel and offers Creole styled accommodation in landscaped garden, just 5 minutes’ drive from Anse Royale. The Seychelles Airport is 8 km away.

The villas have a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor areas and are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. The location was by far our favorite part. We had a car which we rented for such a good price from the owners who also came to talk to us personally and meet us, show us the fruit in the garden and clean and chop it for us to eat and gave us curry leave to use. So so personal. And Denise the manager was always there to help. Such a lovely woman. Bought fruit from the rasta next door who looks after the garden. Best coconuts so sweet. As I said we rented a car and drove about the whole island many times. Besides anse Solei beach which was magical the fairyland beach was lovely and the beach across from us so serine. Probably wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was going back

The Chalet includes 2 double beds located in an open plan space, no individual bedrooms. There is a seating area and a kitchen. A flat-screen TV is available. The house was amazing. There was full fridge waiting for us. Nice touch from the hosts. The person working there, Passang, was very helpful and polite.

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 17 km from Victoria Clock Tower. Maria is a fantastic host, who is attentive to very little details in her house. The stay in her bungalow absolutely exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back to this beautiful corner of the island and spend more time at the Sunbird Bungalow hosted by such fabulous, kind and friendly people like Maria and her daughter Martina.
