The pool is GREAT as is the outside chill area. It's a really beautiful villa. Hasitha, the guy that was there to assist us was great - very helpful and respected out request for privacy. Communication in general was top notch. The view of the sea from the upper level is magnificent.

The owner is the best host you can wish for. First day we did get an aloe vera juice, the aloe vera was from his garden. The next day we get a fresh coconut drink and after that we could eat the coconut meat, very delicious! And he also prepared a delicious meal, which was a big surprise for us. We had a lovely evening, talking and eating. The villa is beautiful, with a large garden. All the birds and monkeys we saw, it was fantastic. It is located in a quiet area with lots of greenery. We loved that! The room is equipped with a/c and a fan, a huge bed and our own bathroom. The bathroom wasn't fully finished yet, but it's only the walls that need some attention, everything else is fully functioning. We didn't mind that at all. We really recommend to stay at this villa!

It was our first encounter with SriLanka and the German owners Edna and Alli made us feel home immediately and within no time we felt a deep sense of location and understanding of the lush environment. The lodge is based on true passion and it shows. In the people and community, the amazing local vegetarian food, the comfortable accommodation and all the activities we were able to engage in at the spur of the moment. Hiking through the rainforest and vegetation of the lodge, tasting directly from a cinnamon plant and watching pepper grow, meeting locals as they carry down the harvested tea leaves, a sunrise bike tour through hidden villages, another sunrise canyoning trip down a deserted river with the occasional local fetching sand from the river bottom, then an aryuveda massage and morning and evening aerial or hatha yoga lessons again right at the property. We felt truly part of the family and have been able to experience so much in four days. Thank you Edna and Alli for sharing your amazing life with us. We will be back and will recommend your lodge to everyone.

I was surprised at first when I saw the pictures and description, but it is matching with what is said: 4 bedrooms, 3 stairs, 2 rooms with balconies, one rooftop, one kitchen, one living room downstairs with TV and one smaller at the first floor.
