We particularly liked the windows as they let a lot on natural light in. There is a small museum in Perushtitsa (10mins walk) which tells a bit about its sad history. Just outside Perushtitsa there is also "The Red Church" which, despite its looks and current state, is an extremely important Christian basilica dating back to 5-6 century.
