Great place to stay with a fantastic host who was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is perfectly located - just far enough from Rotorua to feel out in the country and relax while close enough to be a short drive to its attractions.

It’s seclusion and waterfront nature makes it the perfect getaway for a family. The facilities are excellent, kayaks provided, spa is relaxing, the gardens amazing, the host welcoming, I cannot say enough good things about this place.

The house had pretty much everything in terms of amenities.It is in a very quite peaceful place. Though we had a little set back as owner wasn't aware of us coming but he settled this in a very quick and smooth manner. Its a home away from your home. It has books, board games, spacious rooms, nice outdoor sitting area. Its a shame we had to stay for only one night. Definitely recommend to those who are seaking some quiet time.

We loved our stay at Stylish Home Away From Home. The house was beautiful, modern and newly built, and the photos unfortunately don't do it justice. Stylish home away from home is truly a gem and exceeded all our expectations. The house was very large with four bedrooms, two living rooms, a garage, it was very well equipped and tastefully done, inside there was much more than we would have needed both for cooking and for washing, drying and ironing clothes. Everything was very clean, prepared in the best way and for the first time we felt that the house had really been made with a lot of care and love. We couldn't have chosen better, the only regret is that we were only there for a few days. Thanks to all the staff, thank you very much.

    This is a really comfortable cottage with 2 bigger rooms & one single room, one shared bathroom, and deck out from the lounge with a lake view. Wooden floors. Double glazed so cosy even though it was winter. 2 heat pumps (lounge & hall) and we enjoyed the wood fire . We were a group of three friends & it was great - private & great for cooking meals. 10 mins drive to Rotorua. Clean & comfortable.

    The house was equipped with everything you needed in all areas of the home. The central heating plus the fireplace was amazing as it was really cold being right on the lakeside. The house was nice, warm & cozy the whole stay. Prestine location with an additional bonus of the spa looking over the lake. Easy communication with Kerry the host who was readily available for any questions I had about the home.
