Hosts were great, guesthouse was clean and cosy, lovely horse connection inside the guesthouse and wonderful view over the fields of horses. Plus the hot tub was nice and easy to operate. Will definitely be staying there again.

Amazing country style guesthouse in a great position for exploring Golden Circle and part of Iceland towards Vik (waterfalls, Black Sand beach ...). Guesthouse is fully equipped with everything you need, including great hot tub. Special thanks to host, Sabine, which is very up-to-date and always answers within a few minutes. Highly reccomend!

The house is very well located for many excursions and is close to shops and a gas station. The place is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hot tub is great. We enjoyed the house. Easy communication and well-organized for our arrival.

The cottage itself is quite big, with a total of 3 bedrooms it’s perfect for family leisure and or larger groups (pro tip: you can re-arrange the beds to make a bigger bed). The surroundings are stunning, mountains almost everywhere, when it’s rainy and foggy the tops of the mountains fade a bit which makes it feel more cozy. The floor heating is a great way to keep the entire house warm although we did turn it off approx. 3 hours before sleep as it also heats the bedrooms. The location when it comes to restaurants and shops is also quite good, there is a small shop + road restaurant on about 5 minutes away from the cabin although all of this and more is provided in the guest book. All with all we had a great stay and would probably come again if we decide to visit Iceland for a second time. (Ps. There is a former volcano-ish pit 1 minute away, it does cost around 800 ISK but is worth visiting (€5.50 at the time of writing))

    Cozy cottage that has a single room that can sleep three and a sofa bed that can sleep 1 person. The bedding was excellent as were the kitchen facilities. The laundry room was a real life saviour and the friendly cat was very welcoming and a good distraction

    Lovely cosy cabin. A real home from home. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Nicely decorated with great hot tub and optional sauna facilities. In a quiet neighbourhood. Our time went by too quick!

    Very cosy cabin, the location is great, the space is good and the hot tub is wonderful after a day out in the cold. It’s well located to visit a good number of the golden circle waterfalls. The food hall in the town close by is a great place to get some food.

    The dirrct hotsprings hot tub keeps us coming back for more! The lodge is cosy and so much privacy. Feels like we are in the outback but with the convenience of a supermarket 5 drive away.

    Lovely cabin and facilities. Very clean and cozy, with comfortable beds, and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The cabins are well spaced out. So you feel very secluded. Just off route 1 & not far from the golden circle and 2 towns close by. Owners were really helpful and responded quickly to our queries. I would definitely stay here again.

    Really nice house in countryside far from city lights, which allow us to see northern lights :-) Cosy and comfortable house very well equipped to cook, nice beds and a super private hot tub ! The owner are really nice and helpful (they helped us with our luggage that was lost from the plane company) We loved our stay !

    The cottage is not far from the city Hveragerdi and it has everything you need. The hot tub was wonderful. Staying in the warm water beneath a starry sky is such an amazing experience. The rooms are lovely decorated and it is very cozy.
