We loved our stay at Vanilla Cottage! Hir and his family are very welcoming and warm, we felt immediately at home! We enjoyed our tour around the ricefields and waterfall with Hir and Wan. They showed us so many cool places and realy took their time to show us around! We would definitely come back here! And they have a super sweet dog: Coco

Amazing place with beautiful view over the valley. It's new place super clean and I have to mention bed is very comfortable. Mr. Udet is great host and don't miss walking tour around Tetebatu with him. It's worth every single penny for local authentic experience. I highly recommend thos place 👌

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if ​​you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. The kindness of the host is what stands out. I advise you to go on the waterfall hike with him. He has his own path through the jungle to the beautiful Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls. Definitely better than trying to find them on your own and for a very reasonable price. The food offered by the host is made by his wife and is absolutely delicious if you like the local cuisine. The portions are very royal. This accomodation has its own waterfall in the backyard... What more do you need? P.s. the host drove all the way to Kuta in the south of Lombok to bring me my earplugs that I forgot, even though I only stayed for 1 night. Just goes to show the lengths he goes to for his guests.

We had such a wonderful and unexpected experience at Stokel Cottage in Praya, Lombok. After getting completely soaked on our waterfall tour, we spontaneously booked a night here — and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, Toni (the owner) made us feel incredibly welcome. His hospitality is truly unmatched. He not only helped us settle in quickly, but even lent us dry clothes so we could warm up and relax properly. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. The room was spotless — incredibly clean and cozy. You can tell they really care about maintaining a high standard. And as if that wasn’t enough, Toni also cooked us a delicious dinner that evening, even though it was quite late. It was one of the best meals we had in Lombok! Thank you so much for everything, Toni. Your kindness, generosity, and great cooking made our short stay unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — we’d come back in a heartbeat!
