This is trully a fantastic place to stay! The views can’t be compared to anything else. The house itself was really clean and well equipped. The host is very responsive and kind. Be aware that the island is pretty isolated, there are for example no regular shops, so don’t forget to get groceries in advance. I also recommend booking ferry both ways to be sure, there’s enough space for your car.

Mainly, I loved the serenity and the solitude of the location. The property was finished to a very high standard, including decoration and comfort and the underfloor heating. Swimming in the sea each morning, and then returning to this toasty cabin was pure heaven. A rare find!

The house seems small, but inside is absolutely perfect, cosy and spacious - kitchen, and very nice living room in the ground floor, two bedrooms and bathroom in the first floor. Clean bedwash and all spaces. When is cold day and rain (on Faroe islands it can be every day:-)), heating is shortly in process. The house is in central position - few metres from bus station, ferry and supermarket. View to the harbor. Easy communication with helpful owner - thank you Jan and your mother.

The location was great and had a nice view! We loved Klaksvik; only disappointment was being there on the weekend when much was closed. The apartment was well equiped and very comfortable, clean and stylish. It was soo nice to have 2 bathrooms for 3 women! I would highly recommend this home!

Of course, the view! It is simply spectacular to enjoy the picturesque scenery from the balcony (or inside). The location was perfect to explore the northern part of the Faroes. Klaksvik itself has everything one need: shops (esp. Bonus), restaurants (try Angus Steakhouse, Frida Kaffihuis and the great Fish & Chips close to the ferry) and views (Klakkur). Beautiful hiking trails (Enniberg and Kalsoy) are very easy to reach from this location. And last, but not least, Eyðbjørn was very nice, supportive and responsive. Thank you very much for having us!

Amazingly designed house right in the small harbor of Leirvik. Probably the best private accommodation we have ever stayed in. I loved the Scandinavian interior design with lots of natural light coming from the huge windows all around the house. Bonus points for all of the kitchen equipment which allowed me to cook like I were at home. The owner is very nice and always replies to messages in a minute.
