I'm really glad I stayed at the Berry Cottage during my visit to Suva. It is located in a really safe and quiet area, a short walk away from both the centre of town as well as the Fiji Museum and Thurston Gardens. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and interesting to talk with - the building dates back to World War II and feels like it has some history, with the high ceilings and old British atmosphere. It was also brilliant value for money, being very spacious, and with excellent kitchen facilities including a fridge and microwave which I found really helpful. I would have liked to have stayed longer, and highly recommend this accommodation for a peaceful and comfortable stay in fascinating Suva.

I arrived late after a long day of travelling. There were basic food supplies in the kitchen, and I didn't have to worry about running out at night or in the morning. Instructions were clear and everything worked perfectly. Izaaz also offered tips on getting provisions when I asked. This place is made to make the traveller feel at home.

Gas Cook top with eat in kitchen, 2X full size bathrooms (Main & Ensuite), bedrooms were a decent size, size of lounge room was perfect, undercover outdoor area for entertainment or just to chill, driveway that can fit up to 3-4 parked cars, security gate, fly screens, located 5min walk to bakery & corner store for basic essentials, 10min drive to main shops & eateries, easy access to public buses & taxis on street etc...
