everything perfect with shindzela. Staff very helpfull, answered all the questions after booking and during our stay. All the safaris started on time and our guide Sam did everything he could to give us the best experience always with a smile on his face. We saw 4 of the big fives on first safari and all in second one, but all experiences are different one from another and it also depends on how lucky you are. All the food were delicious and everything was very organized with clear rules. The tents are confortable with private bathroom and hot water. Water hole in front of shindzela attracted lot of elephants, antilopes and also hyenas, it's a good bonus on stay there

The perfect stay for your African Safari adventure. Expert guides making for excellent game drives - not only did we see the Big 5 & more common/uncommon animals, but we also learnt about real-time tracking, interpreting the sounds, and understanding animal behaviour. Paul & Release were exceptional, and I can not recommend them enough! What also sets the property apart from other safari resorts is the variety and quality of food. Kudos to kitchen staff for providing an elaborate spread that covered all major food groups, was tasty and not repeated. And all this at a relatively affordable rate, compared to similar rated properties. 100% recommended this stay!

This is near perfection. We enjoyed our stay from beginning to the end. I am not use to give a 10 but they totally deserved it. Our guide Landon and our tracker Jacky both with a massive experience definitely went above and beyond to let us have a wonderful game experience. The lodge staff were exceptional, always there to help us or offer us anything. Our suite was stunning (maybe even too big for us two).

The lodge was stunning. So tranquil and nestled away in nature. The rooms and main lodge dining area faced the watering hole so we were spoilt for choice with elephants, giraffes, warthog and kudu right in front of our eyes at all times. The staff were the most welcoming, friendly and professional group of people. They could not help us enough. The game drivers and trackers (shoutout to Dennis and Daniel) were incredible. We saw every animal we could have ever hoped for including 2 leopards and we got so close! Obi was our butler and cared for us from start to finish. The cleaning staff left our room so beautiful every day. Honestly the most astounding and outstanding place.

We came here for the safari and it didn’t disappoint. We had six amazing game drives with Themba and Golden - absolute legends - where we saw plenty of animals from Leopard to Rhinos and everything in between. We had Aubrey to look after us throughout our stay - again, legend - and basically all staff there from management to housekeeping were just so amazingly kind and helpful. The 10-rating is without a doubt because of them.

Just outside Kruger Orpen Gate, it s a great and affordable location. The rooms are very clean, staff super friendly, outside there are bbq, but if you don t have your own food there is a little restaurant as well.
